“In everyone’s
life, at some time our inner fire goes out. It is then rekindled through
counselling and psychotherapy by an encounter with another human being”
I offer Psychotherapy and Counselling In London.
Have you ever been truly
listened to in your life? Have you ever had the space to listen to, and express
your deepest longings and fears? Whatever may be troubling you, whether
physical, emotional, or spiritual counselling in London and psychotherapy goes beyond the
symptoms to explore the roots and patterns of who, and how you are in the world
at this particular point in time.
I provide a “healing relationship” where we explore your life in all its
complexity uncovering patterns which, though they may have served you in the
past may need to be re-examined in the light of current circumstances.
I work in counselling in London using the Gestalt (holistic) approach to
counselling and psychotherapy which addresses how you are in your body as well
as in your in mind. The attitude is one of creative exploration in which you can
use art, dreams, music, etc. as well as words according to your wishes and
needs.
As we shed more and more light on all aspects of your being you will then open
up new possibilities and choices for a more fulfilling and authentic life.

patients and relatives within a busy NHS setting dealing with a very broad range
of issues including, bereavement, serious illness, post traumatic stress,
depression, relationship difficulties, and stress in the workplace,
He has worked with groups dealing with depression and stress using Mindfulness
Based Cognitive Therapy. This technique uses traditional meditation techniques
and fuses them with modern psychological ideas particularly cognitive
behavioural therapy which methodically investigates and challenges unhelpful
thought patterns and behaviours.
In July 2008 he participated in a BBC documentary The Pain of Emotion which
investigated the uses of mindfulness in dealing with our emotions.
He is on the Board of Trustees of One in Four – an organisation for counselling
in London– where he also works in both one-to-one therapy as well as in group
therapy dealing with issues such as shame, sexual identity, eating disorders,
anger, depression, fear, relationships and addictions.
My
psychotherapy and counselling practice is based in North London:
